JAKARTA - The 15th Block Service Post at Gelora Bung Karno will resume operations starting Monday (22/6) at 11.00 WIB to receive data collection of former Sultan Hotel workers. The post, located in Parking Building A, opposite the GBK Arena, will be open every day as an information, communication, and follow-up center for workers after the management of Block 15 was returned to the state.
The Block 15 Service Post has been opened by the Bung Karno Complex Management Center (PPKGBK) since February 2026, or about five months before the execution. From the beginning, the post was prepared to serve the data collection of workers, vendors, tenants, residents, and other parties affected by the transition process of managing Block 15.
When the execution of the emptying of Block 15 of the former Sultan Hotel was carried out on Thursday (18/6), the function of the post office service was temporarily transferred and handled by the Crisis Center team. The transfer was carried out so that the information and service needs during the execution process could continue to run in a coordinated manner.
Chairman of the 15 GBK Block Transition Team, Hendry Arisandi, said that the reopening of the post was focused first on obtaining complete data regarding the number of former Hotel Sultan workers, the status of their employment relationship, and their labor rights.
"Starting Monday, June 22, at 11.00 WIB, the Block 15 Service Post at Parking Building A, opposite the GBK Arena, will resume operations every day. We ask all former workers of the Sultan Hotel to immediately report themselves so that they can be fully registered," said Hendry in Jakarta, Sunday (21/6).
According to Hendry, data collection is necessary because until now there is still a difference in information regarding the exact number of ex-Hotel Sultan workers and the status of each employee. The data will later be verified and followed up in accordance with the provisions of the labor regulations.
"The post will record the identity, employment status, work history, and other necessary information. We will verify all reports and follow up on them in accordance with applicable labor regulations. Therefore, we hope that workers will come directly and bring the supporting documents they have," he said.
Hendry emphasized that data collection is not merely an administrative requirement, but is the basis for the PPKGBK and related agencies to obtain a correct picture of the workers' conditions. With accurate data, every follow-up can be carried out in a measured manner and not based on confusing information.
Attention to the fate of workers was also emphasized by Deputy Minister of State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro after the execution on Thursday (18/6). Juri asked PPKGBK not only to list, but also to really pay attention to the fate of the workers so that they do not become the party who is sacrificed after the re-acquisition of state assets.
"We don't want them to be the party sacrificed after the takeover of these assets. We want to humanize them. Later we will data, invite communication, and open communication as widely as possible so that they can contact PPKGBK directly," said Juri.
PPKGBK President Director Rakhmadi Afif Kusumo previously also conveyed that the data of workers who entered through the post would be re-verified. PPKGBK has coordinated with the Ministry of Manpower to ensure that the handling of workers' rights is carried out in accordance with the provisions, including obligations that are still the responsibility of the old managers.
PPKGBK appeals to all former workers of the Sultan Hotel, whether they are permanent, contract, outsourcing, or have other forms of employment, to immediately come to the Service Post of Block 15 at Parking Building A, opposite the GBK Arena, starting Monday (22/6) at 11.00 WIB. Workers are expected to bring their identity and documents related to their employment relationship so that the data collection and verification process can be carried out more quickly.
