JAKARTA - The trend of running sports in Indonesia is still a primadona for the community. Various events are held to welcome the positive shift in lifestyle to be healthier.

Indomaret Run is present as one of the events that has received quite high enthusiasm. This year, Indomaret Run 2026 will be held again in the area of Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 on November 22.

With a wide and sterile track, this event carries three category options, namely 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon (21.1K).

Brand Activation Manager of Indomaret, Soyin Ongko said that Indomaret Run 2026 is a professional standard running event that emphasizes equal access for all levels of society. This is realized through offline registration access at all Indomaret outlets throughout Indonesia with various payment methods, including cash payment.

"We are again choosing the PIK 2 area with route improvements compared to last year so that runners can enjoy an increasingly enjoyable running experience. We also ensure that all people have the same opportunity to participate in the Indomaret Run 2026 by opening registration through Indomaret outlets that are easy to find in various regions," explained Soyin through an official statement.

Indomaret works with iRace Indonesia to ensure that the implementation of this event meets professional standards in terms of technical and supporting equipment so that participants can enjoy the race while recording impressive running performance in each category.

At this year's event, Indomaret added the number of water stations available every 2 kilometers to ensure that the participants' hydration needs are met. Plus there is a weather flag system, where a black flag will be raised as a sign that the race is stopped if there is an emergency such as bad weather.

"This year we made various improvements based on the input from participants. For the Indomaret Run 2026, we present supporting facilities such as water stations and more adequate medical services, signposts to the black flag system according to the standards for organizing professional running races. Our main focus is to provide a safe and comfortable space for runners to enjoy the activity to break their personal records, with an unforgettable experience," said Race Director iRace Indonesia, Veddy Jonatan.

Indomaret Run 2026 also collaborates with Ortuseight, a local sports apparel brand native to Indonesia as the official partner of the running equipment provider in the race pack. As a local brand, continued Soyin, Ortuseight presents high-quality products that are in line with the quality of products from global sports apparel brands that can provide maximum comfort to support the performance of Indomaret Run 2026 participants.

Indomaret Run 2026 provides a quota for 10,000 runners with an initial registration period starting from August 7, 2026. In this first batch, participants can register through Indomaret outlets spread across various regions in Indonesia. Participants can also get Poinku discounts of up to IDR 100,000.

Meanwhile, the second batch will be sold through BRImo on August 12, 2026.
