JAKARTA - LinkedIn platforms, which are usually associated with adults in internet use, appear to be trying to adapt to TikTok's popular trend known as teenage users.
This network platform owned by Microsoft will soon introduce video feeds with short clips that can be rolled out on their mobile apps. However, unlike TikTok, which is famous for its dance content and cooking tips, clips on LinkedIn will be related to professional networks and career development.
The feature is not yet clear when it will be widely released, although a LinkedIn user has tried it, suggesting that its launch may be soon.
A short clip of what appears to be LinkedIn's short video posted by user Austin Null, a Kansas-based marketing professional. The clip shows business people talking about their careers.
Users will be able to access clips on LinkedIn by tapping the new 'Video' icon on the navigation bar, between 'Home' and 'My Network'. Once the 'Video' icon is suppressed, the clip will start automatically and users can scroll it quickly.
The Video icon will replace the 'Pos' icon, which users have to tap on to create a blog post. The Post Icon will be moved to the top of the interface, side by side with the 'Mesan' icon.
