JAKARTA Google Pixel is the first Android phone to have a Satellite SOS feature. This feature was developed at the end of last year and was finally seen on Saturday, March 2.
To see this feature, Pixel users must open Settings first. After that, open the Security and Emergency menu. Users will see the SOS Satellite feature between the Emergency SOS feature and the Detection of Car Collision.
This feature seems to have not been completed because it is still not usable. When the feature is tapped, the Google Pixel device will not show anything. This feature only opens after 9to5google opens it via a rooted Pixel.
The SOS page displays several emergency services. The feature explains that, "With Pixel, you can send a message to an emergency service and share your location when you can't connect to a mobile network or Wi-Fi."

The page also explains that users can call or send emergency service messages, share locations using Google Maps, and answer questions about emergencies with satellites.
"When you are connected to emergency services via satellite, name, email, phone number, location, device information (IMEI, language, model, battery level), and your emergency information is shared with emergency services and satellite service providers."
It is not yet known when this feature can be accessed normally. However, seeing that the feature has been rolled out to compatible Pixel devices, this feature may be launched in the near future
