Open Beta Test For Final Fantasy 14 Will Begin On February 21

JAKARTA - Square Enix has announced that an open beta test for the Xbox Series XS 14 Final will begin on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at around 8:00 GMT or around 15.00 WIB.

In its announcement, Square Enix said, this open beta test will only be available to new players who will play Final Fantasy 14 for the first time.

Thus, players who already have a Free Trial version for different platforms or a Fantasy 14 Final license registered on Enix Square account will not be able to participate in open beta trials.

"We ask any player, who wants to play FINAL FANTASY XIV on Xbox with Square Enix accounts and related characters, please wait until full launch of Xbox after the open beta test is complete," the company wrote on its official website.

To play on Xbox, you need to link Microsoft accounts and your Enix Square account. It should also be noted that you will not be able to cancel the account link after linking.

However, Square Enix plans to launch a version of the Xbox Series XS soon after the end of the open beta test, whose date will be determined after a thorough review.
