JAKARTA - Binance Academy, an educational institution from the Binance crypto exchange, is expanding its reach so that blockchain and Web3 can be accessed by everyone. Although this effort has been made by Binance, realizing this mission is not easy.

Binance Academy emphasizes the importance of blockchain education as a way to accelerate financial innovation in a sustainable manner. This will have a major impact on the digital financial industry, the crypto community, and the crypto ecosystem in general.

In its latest move, Binance Academy recently collaborated with Blockchain Center, an independent nonprofit organization. According to the official announcement, this collaboration aims to formally integrate blockchain education into the global school curriculum. More than 200 universities spread across more than 50 countries will start offering blockchain-based courses.

This initiative plans to educate at least one million students in blockchain engineering and compliance by 2026. To date, the Blockchain Engineering program is a course for 20 weeks. Covered materials involve various topics such as Web 3.0, distributed ledger technology, Solidity programming language development, and Chain bases. In addition, there is also a 13-week Compliance program exploring the buzz between blockchain and regulation.

For Binance, helping users gain solid knowledge of crypto has a double impact. While users update themselves with information about trade risks and various other insights into the crypto industry, the industry will also experience massive growth as adoption increases.

Since its launch in 2018, Binance Academy has been involved in several educational programs. Although originally designed as a learning center for users with various levels of basic knowledge, the platform offers various articles related to free learning materials in various languages.

Its articles cover a beginner to medium rate. While the beginner rate focuses on guidance for crypto trading, middle levels explore deeper topics such as crypto, blockchain, and dApps.

Binance Academy doesn't stop there. They claim to have more than 500 educational articles and Glosarium entries, only in English, which has served more than 27 million people worldwide interested in topics such as crypto security, toxics, and technical analysis.

Furthermore, Binance Academy currently runs other programs in the form of blockchain-based workshops. They carry it out in leading educational institutions around the world and have been followed by more than 19,000 students at more than 200 universities.
