JAKARTA Google announced that it has updated its search feature in the Google app and Search Creative Experience (SGE). The update was launched on Wednesday, January 17.

The first update is the improvement of the multi-search system in the Google app. This feature was first launched on Google Lens in 2022 to get more search results by including one image or text.

For example, you open Google Lens, then insert a picture of the desired shirt to find a shop that sells the shirt. If the color doesn't match your wishes, you can look for other colors through the Search feature.

Google realizes that this capability is very useful for improving search results. Therefore, they adopted the generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) breakthrough to the Google app with Google Lens support.

Now, users can take pictures of objects or upload images, then ask questions related to the image. This question can be asked via the Add menu to your Search.

After asking a question, Google will provide search results that match user questions. Although the search results seem to get support from SGE, users don't need to register for Search Labs to take advantage of this feature.

The next update Google has added is an increase in search results at SGE to introduce Search Labs to more users. The reason is, SGE will be integrated into the results of the multi-search search.

When users try the multi-search system and like the search results, they may want to register at Search Labs to participate in the SGE experiment. Therefore, they also improved their performance from SGE.

This increase is quite simple because Google only updates the search results to make them more natural and intuitive. However, the answer from SGE can be inclusive of old users and new users.
