Step 1: Turn off the Device

It's easy. On Android phones, you can press and hold the Power button for a long time. Hold it until a new menu appears, then select the Turn Off menu or Turn off the Device. After that, the device is safer to be dried.

As for iPhone cellphone users, there are several ways to turn off the device. iPhone 6, 7, or 8 users can turn it off by pressing and holding the Power button until the Power Off slider menu appears.

On the iPhone X, 11, or later, the cellphone can be turned off by pressing and holding the button on the right and Volume Down simultaneously. Wait for the Power Off slider menu to appear.

After the device is turned off, remove the SIM card, SD card, then remove the battery. Put all these components separately so you can dry them more easily.

Step 2: Dry with a Cloth

After the device is turned off, then we can dry the cellphone safely. For the back, you can dry it using a cloth that has high absorption. Examples such as microfiber cloth.
