Google Gives The Capability To Transfer Google Podcast Subscriptions To YouTube Music

JAKARTA - After the announcement of the closing of the Google Podcast some time ago, Google has now re-launched a new way so that customers can move their subscriptions to YouTube Music.

"Today, we are rolling out a way for Google Podcast listeners to move their program subscriptions to YouTube Music, or other apps they choose," the YouTube team wrote in an update on its official website on Tuesday, December 19.

However, the launch of this capability can only be done by users in the United States first. While the global launch may be announced in the future.

For users in the United States, Google says that they will start seeing options for exporting their podcast subscriptions when using Google Podcasts on mobile devices or the web.

Google noted that listeners in the United States will still be able to use Google Podcasts until March 2024, and can integrate their subscriptions until July 2024.

"For everyone, we will continue to update this series of messages as we launch the migration process to new areas, so take care of your eyes," the announcement concluded.
