Onic Esports Becomes The First Team To Enter The Top 3 M5 World's Championship

JAKARTA - After appearing charming in the Group Stage M5 World's Championship, Onic Esports again showed its heading in the Knockout round, having previously managed to beat Blacklist International.

Onic Esports vs Deut Vult

In the fourth day of the Knockout round, at the top bracket, Onic Esports had to meet Deus Vult who previously won over Fire Flux Esports. With the Best of Five (BO5) system, Onic managed to beat 3-0 over DeVu.

Thus, Onica became the Indonesian representative esports team that managed to advance to the next round, and also became the first team to secure the Top 3 position in the M5 series. Meanwhile, DeVu had to go down to the lower bracket.

Geek Fam vs AP Bren

Not much different from Onic, Geek also looked charming in the Group Stage round. On the second day of the Knockout round, Geek also managed to beat Burmese Ghouls with a final score of 3-2.

Unfortunately, Geek did not manage to maintain his position in the upper bracket because he lost to AP Bren (APBR) with a final score of 3-1. While APBR managed to secure the Top 3 position together with Onic.

Thus, Geek still has to compete in the lower bracket, and will meet with the esports team from the Philippines, Blacklist International on December 15.
