JAKARTA - Robert Bosch has opened a new testing center for chips and sensors in Malaysia at a cost of 65 million euros (Rp1 trillion) and plans to invest an additional 285 million euros (Rp4.7 trillion) towards the middle of the next decade, the German technology group announced on Tuesday, August 1.
Until the mid-2030s, around 400 jobs will be created due to the project.
Currently, Bosch is conducting most of the final testing of their semiconductors in their factories in German cities, such as Reutlingen, Suzhou in China, and Hungary.
