JAKARTA - Elon Musk challenges Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg to a fight. And, he accepts it. If that happens, this will be the most challenging entertainment for the two social media owners.

This story begins when one Twitter user @MarioNawfal said Meta is currently working on a Twitter competitor nicknamed Threads with the Project 92 code.

The social media was carried out three months after Musk acquired Twitter. Meta's Chief Product Officer, Chris Cox, described Threads as the company's response to Twitter.

Cox also said Threads would be designed as a multi-platform, where Instagram users could automatically transfer their followers and user information directly to a new app.

However, Musk recently responded to the Tweet @MarioNawfal with a ridicule in which he said that this Earth will also be owned by Zuckerberg, without having any other choice.

"I believe Earth can't wait to be exclusively under Zuck's thumbs up without any other choice. At least it will be sane. Worried there for a moment," Musk tweeted.

The funny thing is, there are netizens who remind Musk to be careful with Zuckerberg because he is quite proficient in defending JuJitsu.

Musk then responded with a challenge, "I'm ready for the home game lol," he replied loudly.

Shortly after Musk's reply went viral, Zuckerberg via his Instagram Stories accepted the challenge along with screenshots of a series of Musk's tweets.

"Send me the location," said Zuckerberg. Then, Musk replied again via a tweet with the location, "Vegas Octagon," he replied.

Even so, this fight is quite eagerly awaited. The reason is, the two largest social media owners in the world have often ridiculed each other for a long time about their innovations.

Launching Business Insider, Thursday, June 22, one of them was in 2016, when Zuckerberg said he was very disappointed with SpaceX after one of the company's rockets destroyed the Facebook satellite.

In February 2020, Musk asked people to delete Facebook because it was paralyzed. And in May, Musk stated Zuckerberg was very partisan and WhatsApp was unbelievable.
