Bandai Namco Shares Tekken 7 Update And Shows Its Latest Upcoming Project, Tekken 8?

JAKARTA - During the EVO 2022 event, video game developer and publisher Bandai Namco shared a free update trailer for the next Tekken 7.

In the uploaded trailer, the Tekken 7 update will include balance adjustments as well as new tactics that will be released for this legendary fighting game.

Still in the same trailer, Bandai Namco also shared news about the Global Finals of the Tekken World Tour 2023. The studio said that the Global Finals of TWT will be held on February 4-5 next year in Amsterdam.

There's something interesting about this two-minute trailer, when you watch it to the end, Bandai Namco shows a cutscene where Kazuya knocks Heihachi off the edge of a cliff. Then, the scene ends with Kazuya smiling, then the screen changes to a much more realistic rendering of Kazuya, with the words "Get Ready".

During the EVO event, series director Katsuhiro Harada appeared briefly, but didn't say anything about the teaser.

Although we don't know for sure, maybe this could lead to the launch of Tekken 8. Some media such as IGN and VGC also have the same prediction. It's a good idea to wait for official information from Bandai Namco about this next project.

Tekken is a fighting game series developed and produced by Namco. It started as an arcade game, and was later ported to the PlayStation game console and later to the PlayStation 2.
