JAKARTA - One of the most anticipated boxing fights between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul has been confirmed.

The boxing legend and the YouTuber set a new date for their exhibition bout after the previous schedule in February was postponed.

Mayweather Promotions announced the news via social media, writing: "The historic crossover event has been signed and sealed".

"Mayweather v Paul live at Hard Rock, Sunday, June 6".

Mayweather - the undefeated boxer who proudly claims to be the greatest of all time - will face the YouTube star who has more than 20 million subscribers.

Mayweather, 44, did not compete as a professional for four years after he beat Conor McGregor by knockout.

His last world title race took place in 2015, and since then he has focused on exhibition matches. His last match in the ring was against kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018.

His team describes the fight as a "historic crossover event" as the YouTube boxing phenomenon continues to take over the sport.

This will be the veteran boxer's third crossover event since he took on McGregor and Nasukawa.

Meanwhile, Logan Paul, 26, is the older brother of his younger brother Jake, 24, who beat former MMA star Ben Askren earlier this month. Unlike his younger brother, Logan has a record of one defeat in the boxing world after losing to YouTuber KSI in November 2019.
