Barcelona Defender Kecam Man City And Call Guardiola A Liar

JAKARTA - Defender Joao Cancelo issued a surprising statement. The Manchester City defender, who is currently on loan at Barcelona, called Pep Guardiola's manager a liar. Man City is also considered a thankless club.

Cancelo is considered unhappy at the club after his position was shifted by another player. Guardiola explained that Cancelo looked less than happy after Nathan Ake became the first choice at right-back.

If Guardiola thinks there are unhappy players, he is asked to leave. On that claim, Guardiola then released Cancelo by loaning him to Bayern Munich in early 2023.

The former Bayern coach does have players' rules that he thinks are unhappy at the club he is handling being asked to leave. Only Guardiola's assessment tends to be subjective.

After bringing Bayern to the German Bundesliga title, Cancelo was still rejected to return to Man City.

"All that is said to be a lie!" said Cancelo.

"My relationship with other players is fine and fine. Please ask Ake or Rico [Lewis]. I've never felt greater or felt lower than them. That's just the manager's opinion," he said.

Not only about Guardiola, but he also criticized Man City. Cancelo claims not to be the one who doesn't know his gratitude, but a club that actually ignores players like him.
