Radja Nainggolan Admits It's Not Difficult To Adapt In Jakarta

Radja Nainggolan watched the IBL 2024 live during the 2023/2024 Liga 1 holiday (VOI/Ferry Tri Adi).

JAKARTA - Radja Nainggolan was officially introduced as a new player for Bhayangkara FC in early December 2023. He has only appeared with The Guardian once.

He appeared with Bhayangkara against Persita Tangerang on December 17, 2023 in a 3-0 victory. Radja entered in the second half of the 56th minute.

It was Bhayangkara and Radja's last match before the 2023/2024 Liga 1 break. Although it was only a short time with The Guardian and living in Jakarta, Radja Nainggolan admitted that it was not difficult to adapt.

"I think it's a good city even though it's packed. Everything you want is available here."

"Actually, for me, Jakarta is like cities in Europe. It is not difficult to adapt to myself from other cities to other cities or from other countries to other countries. It is very good for me here," said Radja Nainggolan to VOI when met at Hall A Senayan, Jakarta.

Radja Nainggolan was caught watching the 2024 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) when Satria Muda Pertamina hosted Dewa United Banten at Hall A Senayan, Jakarta, on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

He was very enthusiastic about the tight match. Radja was seen sitting with PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir, Menpora Dito Ariotedjo, and Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi.

The 35-year-old midfielder admitted that witnessing Indonesian basketball competition could be his choice when filling his free time or the League 1 break as it is now.

Meanwhile, Radja Nainggolan is still struggling to get Bhayangkara FC out of the 2023/2024 Liga 1 relegation zone. Currently, The Guardian is still at the bottom with 15 points.

Bhayangkara FC will play the next Liga 1 2023/2204 match on February 4, 2024, with a trip to Persebaya Surabaya headquarters.
