"He will wear jersey number 16," the club explained.

Meanwhile, Leipzig Sports Director, Mario Gomez, said that Werner's loan was a win-win solution.

"He benefits. We also benefit because he can finally leave and get the opportunity to play regularly. That's what Tottenham promised us," said Gomez.

All benefiting because Werner gets guaranteed to join the team. Tottenham can overcome front line problems with the absence of captain Song Heung-min.
