Kevin/Rahmat Awaited The Superiors During Their Debut At The Korea Masters

JAKARTA Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Rahmat Hidayat have been waiting for many seeds when they want to debut at the Korea Masters next week.

The new couple will certainly make their debut at the Super 300 level after being delayed several times since being announced as a new partner on June 28.

In the first half, Kevin/Rahmat will meet representatives of the host Jin Yong/Ki Dong Ju. If they go through the first half then they have a chance to meet third seed from Chinese Taipei Lee Jhe-Huei/Yang Po-Hsuan in the second half.

If their trip reaches the quarter-finals, sixth seed from Chinese Taipei Chang Ko-Chi/Po Li-Wei will likely be their opponent.

If they reach the semifinals, they could get tougher opponents. There may be a 2023 world champion and the host's first seed Kang Min Hyuk/Seo Seung Jae.

Another possible opponent they can face in the semifinals is Malaysia's fifth seed, Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin.

Kevin/Rahmat's debut was confirmed by the men's doubles coach Aryono on Wednesday, November 1 yesterday. Both badminton players are confirmed to be in a condition ready to compete.

The two athletes previously had two weeks of not being able to train together because Rahmat was playing in two Indonesia Challenge and Indonesia Masters tournaments in Surabaya with Muhammad Rayhan Nur Fadillah.
