The President arrived at the VIP door of the East Lobby of the GBK Stadium at around 19.02 WIB and was greeted by the General Chair of the All-Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Erick Thohir, Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo, TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

President Jokowi was seen wearing a red t-shirt combined with a red jacket. He had smiled at the media crew when he was about to enter the VIP stands.

The Indonesian national team faced Brunei Darussalam in the first round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification which took place at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Kamsi, October 12.

Previously, the General Chair of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Erick Thohir reminded the Indonesian national team players not to look at Brunei Darussalam with one eye.

Erick said Garuda team players must maintain their performance during the 2026 World Cup Qualification event.
