After Debut In Al Nassr, Sadio Mane Continues To Makkah For Umrah Worship

JAKARTA - Sadio Mane made his debut at his new club, Al Nassr, Thursday, August 3. After the match was over, the bomber continued his journey to Makkah to perform Umrah.

Mane was recruited by the Saudi Arabian club in the 2023 summer transfer market with a contract duration of three years. To bring him to Arabia, Al Nassr spent 30 million euros in ransom to Bayern Munich.

The former Liverpool player made his debut when The Global Club met Zamalek at King Fahd Stadium, Riyadh, in the Arab Club Champions Cup match.

In that match, Mane did not appear as a starter. He only entered in the 22nd minute replacing Abdulaziz Al Elewai.

Although he did not register his name on the scoreboard, Mane managed to help Al Nassr finish the match with a 1-1 draw. Cristiano Ronaldo scored his team's single goal.

After the match, Mane did something interesting. Instead of returning with his teammates and his team to Al Nassr's headquarters, Mane even had other goals. He chose to go to Makkah to continue the Umrah pilgrimage.

Not alone, Sadio Mane also worshiped with several Al Nassr players such as Waleed Abdullah, Seko Fofana, and Sultan Al-Ghannam. The moment Mane who was in the Holy Land was known from the upload of the 31-year-old player.

On Instagram Story, Mane uploaded the atmosphere of the Umrah congregation when he was in front of the Kaaba. Accompanimenting the upload, Sadio Mane also gave two-heart emojis and two palms that stuck to each other as a sign of prayer.

It seems that Mane's worship will not interfere with his schedule with Al Nassr. Because the team will only return to compete again in the quarter-finals of the Arab Club Champions Cup against the King of CA, Sunday, August 6 evening WIB.
