This Is The Era Of Barreti And Primavera In The Second Seat Of The National Team

Jakarta- Primavera and Barreti national team programs in 1995 by sending young teachers to Italy, has become an old story. The two teams were arguably less fortunate in achieving achievements for the national team in their time.

But now as time increases, the retired troops have changed their professions to become coaches in their old age. Starting from Bima Sakti, Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto and Eko Purjianto and Kurnia Sandi, who now holds the status of assistant coaches for the U-23 national team.

They were the stars of Primavera in their time, who successfully tasted gold at the last SEA Games, or Yeyen Tumena.

Even Bima Sakti had time to lead the U-16 national team to win the 2022 AFF Cup. He was accompanied by other Primavera stars such as Indriyanto Nugroho as well as an assistant coach for the U-16 national team.

Meanwhile, ex-Barreti, such as Charis Yulianto and Tommy Haryanto, are now assistant coaches for the senior national team under Shin Tae-yong.

"Yes, having a career while studying. This might be my provision to become a coach in the future because I am in STY's coaching team," said Tommy to VOI.

You could say that the assistant coaches or coaches who were born in the range from 1976 to 1978, are now entering the peak period of their careers as coaches. Although the opportunity to become a senior national team coach at this time feels minimal, they still believe that a career can be better in the future.

"We can be the coach of the club or maybe the coach of the age group national team. The sustenance and fate of people who know," said Tommy.
