Hylo Open 2022 Results: Indonesia Wins 2 Titles, One Of Them From Anthony Ginting

JAKARTA - Indonesia won two titles at the 2022 Hylo Open badminton tournament, Sunday, November 6. The title was taken from the men's singles and mixed doubles.

In the men's singles number, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting performed extraordinary. He managed to beat the third seed from Taiwan, Chou Tien Chen.

Having lost 18-21 in the first game, the PBSI champion managed to win the next two games.

In the second game, he won quite easily with a score of 21-11. While in the deciding game, Ginting's mentality was more tested by winning 24-22.

Meanwhile, the couple Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati won their inaugural title.

In the final, Rehan/Lisa defeated the Chinese pair, Feng Yan Zhe/Huang Dong Ping. Amazingly, they won two straight games!

Rehan/Lisa who appeared impressive since the beginning of the match, won 21-17 in the first game. In the second game, they were even more superior and closed the game with a score of 21-15.

In the other match, Han Yue won the women's singles title after defeating Zhang Yi Man with a score of 21-18 and 21-16.

Meanwhile, in the men's doubles, Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han won 11-21, 21-17, and 25-23 over Lee Jhe-Huei/Yang Po-Hsuan.

While in the women's doubles sector, Benyapa Aimsaard/Nuntakarn Aimsaard defeated their compatriots, Jongkolphan Kititharakul/Rawinda Prajongjai with a score of 21-18, 18-21, and 21-17.
