Left Out During Tuchel Era, Christian Pulisic Can't Wait To Show Off In Front Of Graham Potter The New Manager

JAKARTA - Chelsea midfielder, Christian Pulisic, admits he can't wait to start the challenge under the care of new manager, Graham Potter. He wants to prove himself worthy of being relied on by Chelsea.

When the Blues were handled by Thomas Tuchel, Pulisic was indeed marginalized. He was not able to impress the German manager and sat mostly on the bench.

Pulisic has just completed his country assignment with the United States national team in the FIFA Matchday agenda against Saudi Arabia. Completed duty, Pulisic immediately returned to West London to join the Blues.

"I feel good to be back. I have a fresh start now, and I'm excited to play under the new manager (Graham Potter)," Pulisic said as quoted by ESPN.

This season when Tuchel was still in charge, Pulisic only played for 176 minutes. Now, he hopes to increase his playing time after the club replaced Tuchel with Potter.

He can't wait to work and prove himself under the direction of the former Brighton and Hove Albion manager.

"I just have to prove myself, as everyone does, and as I have done before," continued the former Borussia Dortmund player.

At the start of the 2022/2023 season, Chelsea is currently in seventh place in the Premier League standings.

They collected 10 points from six matches. They are eight points behind leaders Arsenal.
