Tyson Fury Breaks His Promise, Into The Ring Again Against Thor Who Was Once The Strongest Man In The World

JAKARTA - Tyson Fury will fight again in the ring! The world champion will take part in an exhibition event with the former strongest man in the world, Thor Bjornsson.

Tyson Fury decided to put on his gloves after defeating Dillian Whyte at Wembley in April with a brutal punch in the sixth round. After that, the boxer nicknamed the King of Gypsies admitted that he would no longer box forever.

However, the 33-year-old finally changed his mind. After being heavily linked with the fight against Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury chose an opponent far from the public's attention, namely Game of Thrones star Bjornsson.

"It's going to be a bit of fun. It would be great to be there in front of, say, 70,000 fans and show him what boxing is, make him miss, and knock him out," Fury told The Telegraph.

"We're talking to his team at the moment and it's definitely something I'm doing. I'm interested," he continued.

This was also confirmed by Bjornsson, who has a 2-2-0 exhibition record, including a win over fellow World's Strongest Man winner Eddie Hall. He admitted, that the two sides were negotiating to reach the expected agreement.

"I know that there are some ongoing negotiations and some talks, but nothing has been finalized. If that actually happened, I would happily step into the ring and I would happily fight it," Bjornsson said, speaking to the IFL TV.

"I've been saying it since day one. When people ask me, 'Would you like to fight Tyson Fury?', I always say yes. It will be a great honor for me to fight the best heavyweight boxer in the world and it will be an amazing experience for me."

"Would I be beaten? Maybe, but I wouldn't care. I'll do my best and who knows? I'm very strong and my punches hurt so if that happens he can't calm down because I'm a warrior, I'm a Viking and I will do everything if that happens."
