Jake Paul Claims He's Equal To McGregor

JAKARTA - YouTuber who is now a boxer Jake Paul claims he is at the same level as Conor McGregor when the Irish fighter is at Jake's current age.

Jake is now 25 and he thinks nothing separates him and the 25-year-old version of McGregor.

With five fights on his record, all wins, he says he is at a great level and is already thinking about the best names to play against.

"Look where Conor McGregor was when I was my age. He's nowhere near me now. His potential is endless, to become the greatest fighter in the world," Jake said on social media.

The American went on to claim that McGregor is too active on social media for someone who hasn't struggled much for success recently.

"Conor, Conor, Conor. You are more active on Twitter than in the octagon, your priorities are mixed," said the younger brother of Logan Paul.

"Calm down and get back into the fight. You haven't won a fight in five years and the last time you did was against Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone," Jake wrote.

At the age of 25, McGregor is already shining in the mixed martial arts world.

The Irishman, at that age, held two world championships in featherweight and lightweight from MMA.

In MMA, he shone against Marcus Brimage, having done the same against Max Holloway in 2015.

In the UFC, 155 pounds is his forte, and his biggest fights are against Diego Brandao and Dustin Poirier. Also, weighing 170 pounds, he won the world championship.
