JAKARTA - The series of statements between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury continues, after the British boxer failed to enter the United States to fight with the YouTuber which was scheduled for August.
However, on this occasion, Tyson Fury's half-brother appeared on social networks to clarify why he did not fly to the Americas and also answer all those who speculated about the reason he canceled the duel with Paul.
“Recently on social networks, I've seen more things about me than ever before. "I just want to clarify one thing, the reason this fight didn't happen was because I couldn't get into the country, not because I didn't train or wasn't in the best shape," Fury said.
"I was ready and excited to go. I was at the airport Monday morning, with all my gear, ready to fly and start the show."
The duel between Fury and Paul is scheduled for August at Madison Square Garden, New York. However, the Briton didn't show up for fight promotions last week so he received a suspension.
"I couldn't get into that country and that's why this fight didn't happen. All that bullshit about me not being ready or not training, forget it," Fury said.
"If it doesn't come from me, then don't believe it because it's not the truth."
Tommy Fury's dad thinks differently
In his clarification, the British boxer called anything that called him not training "that's bullshit".
John Fury, the father of Tyson and Tommy said a few days ago that one of the reasons his youngest son didn't make this fight was because "he didn't train".
