Subaru Indonesia Club Holds SIC Campventure, Celebrates Togetherness In The Open

JAKARTA PT Plaza Auto Mega together with the official community of the Subaru Indonesia Club (SIC) successfully held an event titled SIC Campventure, a camping activity that strengthens Subaru's image as a brand that is synonymous with nature and adventure through the flagship feature of Symmetric All-Wheel Drive.

The event which lasted for two days on September 8-9 involved 72 participants with 32 Subaru cars. The journey starts from Plaza Subaru Tebet, Jakarta, to Pangalengan, West Java, with a challenging route of 360 km. The participants climbed up to an altitude of 1,850 meters above sea level before returning via Soreang, Bandung.

Arie Christopher, Chief Executive Officer of Subaru Indonesia, expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of the Subaru owners in participating in this event.

Since it was first announced, the registration was immediately full. Preparations went smoothly until the D day," said Arie in a statement, Tuesday, September 10.

He also expressed his pride in interacting directly with the big community of the Subaru Indonesia Club, which he said provided a lot of positive input for the development of Subaru in the future.

"As APM Subaru in Indonesia, PT Plaza Auto Mega is committed to continuing to support the Subaru Indonesia Club activities. We really appreciate the role of administrators and the enthusiasm of members who have now reached more than 250 people," added Arie.

The Subaru Indonesia Club (SIC) itself is the official community that owns Subaru in Indonesia which has been registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights with a notary deed and an official account. Since its establishment on October 21, 2023, this community has continued to grow with members from various types of models and years of manufacture of Subaru.

SIC Campventure is one of the annual events designed to strengthen relations between members with an atmosphere of togetherness in the open. Various Subaru vehicles, ranging from SUVs such as Crosstrack/XV, Forester, and Outback, to Exiga, WRX, and Subaru BRZ, participated in coloring the event.
