Nissan Signs The Emergence Of Four New Models, Anything?

JAKARTA - Not long ago, Nissan hinted at the emergence of a number of new models in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024 presentation. The four models are estimated to be the latest Patrol, Fleet model twin, Murano with a sporty look, and a mysterious crossover.

In the presentation slide, a number of mysterious models stand behind several cars that have been launched, such as the latest Infiniti QX80, new Nissan Kicks, a refreshable Note, and ariya NISMO which is a high-performance electric vehicle.

Reporting from Carscoops, Wednesday, July 31, among the models covered up is most likely Murano who will debut on the North American market next year.

Although Nissan has yet to reveal its official image, the image on this presentation slide provides an overview of the actual design. The roofline looks sleek like a catch of a spy camera and shows a separate headlights design.

Then, there is a large SUV between the models covered and most likely the newest Patrol. The car will change generations in the near future after its appearance was required earlier this year.

Chances are, this seventh-generation Patrol will have the same base as Infiniti QX80 with a large grip that shows the authority of the car. This car will also be a competitor to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX.

Then, another model is the latest Nissan Fleet. This full-size SUV will be designated for the North American market with a dashing and luxurious design.

The last model is not yet known, but will carry a smaller crossover or SUV style. It is estimated that the car will have a subcompact SUV proportion, so it is estimated to be one of the models that has affordable prices on the market.

It is possible that the teaser will feature the EV version of Nissan Juke, which is rumored to be debuting between 2025 and 2027. The model is expected to be sold in Europe along with the ICE-powered Juke, which was originally introduced in 2019 and updated in 2024 with a new infotainment system.

Nissan CEO Makoto Uchida has also focused on multiple launches in some areas with the aim of directing the company back on track after experiencing difficult first quarters.

He highlighted that the latest Fleet and Murano models could revive US market interest in Nissan vehicles, in addition to Infiniti QX80.

For Europe, this manufacturer from Japan is also expanding the ranks of e-Power hybrid models such as Juke, Qashqai, and X-Trail.

Meanwhile, the latest generation of Patrol will be launched for the Middle East market. Then, Nissan will also focus on the latest Note models, Serena, and two kei cars named Sakura and Dayz.
