JAKARTA - A woman and her family were caught on a CCTV camera while stealing a 3-kilogram LPG gas cylinder at a food stall, Kramat IV Ujung Street, Senen, Central Jakarta. The CCTV footage has gone viral on Instagram.

Responding to the viral video of the theft of gas cylinders, members of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of the Senen Police immediately pursued the perpetrators of the theft. As a result, the woman and the man who was suspected to be a married couple were arrested by the police.

When confirmed by VOI, Senen Police Chief Commissioner of Police Ari Susanto confirmed the arrests of two perpetrators of the theft of gas cylinders that occurred on Sunday, October 31, yesterday.

"He was arrested last night," said Ari when contacted by VOI, Monday, November 1.

In the action, the two perpetrators rode a motorbike with two small children. The two perpetrators had time to look around the situation.

After the situation was safe, the woman then got off the motorbike. At first, the woman took off the gas hose first.

Then he loaded the 3 kilogram LPG gas onto the motorbike. The man then immediately stepped on the gas and rode a motorbike leaving the location.

Ari said that his party immediately went after the perpetrator based on the viral video. Both were finally caught on Sunday, October 31, last night.

However, Ari did not want to reveal the details of this case. Including whether the two perpetrators and the two children who were ridden were family members.
