DEPOK – The destruction of a house on Mawar Raya Street, RW 04 Depok Jaya, Depok was not caused by a falling crane, but an excavator or a beko. The incident resulted in fatalities.

Head of the Disaster Management Division of the Depok City Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat), Denny Romulo, confirmed the incident. After receiving the report, officers immediately went to the scene to evacuate the victim.

"Firefighter, TNI-Police, PMI, Tagana (social volunteer), PUPR (Ministry of Public Works and Housing), and other volunteers are already at the location. Collaborating to evacuate victims who were crushed by the rubble", he said.

Until now, firefighters and rescue workers from the city of Depok are still evacuating one victim who was struck by the fall of the beko project to demolish the PDAM tower in Pancoranmas, Depok.
