Viani Limardi Doesn't Accept For Being Fired, And Will Sue PSI Party For IDR 1 Trillion

JAKARTA - Viani Limardi admitted that she would sue the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) through legal channels because he was dismissed from party cadres and members of the DKI Regional Representative Council (DPRD). Viani plans to sue PSI Party with a value of IDR 1 trillion.

"This time I will not remain silent and I will fight and sue PSI Party for one trillion rupiahs," Viani told reporters, Tuesday, September 28.

The plan to file this lawsuit was made because she felt that the reason for PSI's dismissal was not true. Viani denied that he had inflated his recess funds while she was a member of the council. This accusation made her fired as a cadre.

"None at all did I inflate the recess funds, it was a very rotten slander and aimed to kill my character," said Viani.

It is known that in the letter of dismissal of PSI's Central Executive Board (DPP), it was stated that Viani often inflated recess funds of up to IDR 302 million for 16 recess points.

Viani clarified that she had completed 16 recesses and returned the recess funds of around IDR 70 million to the Secretariat of the DKI DPRD.

"Not only in March 2021, almost every time I have a recess, but I also return the rest of the unused recess budget. Please check with the DPRD and Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK). So where is the inflation?" she said.

Previously, news of Viani's dismissal from PSI was confirmed by PSI DPP spokesman Ariyo Bimo.

"That's right (Viani was dismissed)," said Ariyo when confirmed. The dismissal was stated in a decree signed by PSI General Chair Grace Natalie and PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni.
