JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Regional Representative Council (DPRD) Prasetyo Edi Marsudi closed the opening plenary meeting to determine the interpellation of Formula E. In today's plenary meeting, two factions namely PDIP and PSI Parties presented the reasons for proposing the right of interpellation.
When ending today's meeting, Prasetyo postponed the continuation of the Formula E interpellation plenary meeting until an undetermined time.
This is because today's meeting only presents 32 members of the DKI DPRD, consisting of 25 members of the PDIP Party faction and 7 members of the PSI Party faction who do not meet the 50 percent quorum + 1 DPRD member.
"The quorum in this forum is also not a 50+1 quorum. So, we suspended the plenary meeting proposing the interpellation. I made a mistake, it was not suspended but postponed," said Prasetyo at the DKI DPRD Building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, September 28.

Although there is no quorum, Prasetyo said that the agenda for the plenary meeting did not violate any rules. This is because today there is no decision-making process regarding whether the interpellation will be carried out or not.
"There is no violation, right, this was proposed at the Deliberative Body. There is no decision-making, friends who are still outside, hopefully, we will come to a good consensus," said Prasetyo.
Thus, in order to continue the plenary session, the Jakarta DPRD Deliberative Body must re-schedule the plenary meeting.
After the agenda of explaining the interpellation proposers, the plenary agenda was continued with the agenda of the general views of the DKI DPRD factions regarding the interpellation proposal. Then, the third agenda is to make a decision whether the interpellation will be carried out or not.
Previously, seven factions in the DKI DPRD stated that they did not want to come to the plenary meeting room today. Deputy Chairman of the DKI DPRD from the Gerindra faction, Mohamad Taufik, emphasized that the seven factions would not attend the plenary meeting because the agenda was considered illegal.
"Seven factions and four deputy chairmen of the DKI DPRD stated that the plenary meeting held on Tuesday, September 28 was not appropriate to attend because it was an illegal act," said Taufik.
Taufik considers that the interpellation plenary schedule decided by Prasetyo violates Article 80 Paragraph 3 of Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2020 concerning the Order of the DKI DPRD.
The plenary schedule of the interpellation was decided in the meeting of the Jakarta DPRD Deliberative Body (Bamus) yesterday. However, said Taufik, there was no inclusion of the Formula E interpellation in the discussion list of the previous Bamus invitation.
In this case, the interpellation discussion was inserted during the Bamus meeting. "There are seven agendas (in the invitation to the Bamus meeting). The interpellation agenda does not exist," said Taufik.
