JAKARTA - The government has added the location of tourist attractions that may be opened in areas that apply PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) Level 3. It is known that PPKM in Java-Bali has been extended for the next week.

"Adding the location of tourist attractions at the level that will be opened with strict procedures and implementation of care to protect at level 3 cities", said Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, in a virtual press conference, Monday, September 13.

Luhut emphasized that the government implemented an odd-even system in tourist attractions that were already allowed to operate.

"The odd-even application will be applied to tourist areas starting Friday at 12.00 to Sunday at 18.00 WIB", said Luhut.

Every visitor who enters tourist attractions must have been vaccinated, by showing a COVID-19 vaccine certificate using the PeduliLindung application.

For information, the government decided to extend the PPKM in Java and Bali from September 14 to 20, 2021. In the extension of the PPKM for the next week, many regions experienced a decrease in the level of assessment.

"In the implementation of PPKM that was carried out until last week, the government finally succeeded in lowering the province of Bali to Level 3. So from 11 cities/districts level 4 last week, today the number has decreased to only 3 cities/regencies only", said Luhut.

Luhut emphasized that the government will continue to implement PPKM for a long time. This answers many people's questions.

"The government confirms that it will continue to apply this PPKM Level in all areas of Java and Bali and evaluate it every week to reduce the number of confirmed cases and not to repeat the same incident in the future", he explained.
