Last Night Anies Invited 7 Factions Other Than PDIP-PSI Parties To Discuss Formula E

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan invited representatives of seven factions of the DKI Regional Representative Council (DPRD) to his official residence to discuss the issue of implementing Formula E last night.

The seven faction representatives who attended were from the Gerindra, PAN, Democrat, PKS, Golkar, NasDem, and PKB-PPP Parties factions. However, no PDIP and PSI Parties representatives were present. It is known that these seven factions did not follow the application for the Interpellation Rights Formula E as posted by PDIP and PSI.

During the meeting, DKI Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria, DKI Regional Secretary Marullah, and DKI Regional Secretariat Government Assistant Sigit Wijatmoko were also present.

This meeting was confirmed by the Secretary of the Golkar Faction Judistira Hermawan. Judistira admitted that the meeting discussed the issue of Formula E.

"We have been invited to meet up. We haven't seen the governor for a long time. Then we also want to get a detailed explanation regarding this. Of course, later we will examine the results of the meeting with Pak Anies yesterday", Judistira said when contacted, Friday, August 27.

At last night's meeting, Judistira admitted that she gave Anies a critical note that the DKI Provincial Government must manage the budget well, especially in planning the Formula E event.

Moreover, the current COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing. Therefore, in the near future, the DPRD will hold an official follow-up meeting with Anies to discuss the issue of Formula E.

However, he said, this does not mean that this can only be achieved by means of interpellation, as has been done by PDIP and PSI.

"Pak Anies agreed that God willing, there will also be a meeting to provide further explanation. Of course, we will ask for a deeper explanation from the Governor and the provincial government. But, again, not through an interpellation mechanism", said Judistira.
