JAKARTA - Politics in Indonesia is warm again about the proposed parliamentary threshold to increase to 7 percent.
This proposal was put forward by the General Chairman of the Nasdem Party, Surya Paloh for the sake of simplifying political parties in parliament.
Surya Paloh revealed this in an online national dialogue on the 50th anniversary of CSIS Indonesia on Monday, August 23.
As for the Election Law, the current parliamentary threshold is 4 percent.
