Sunday Morning, Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya Opens Mobile SIM Service, Here's The Location

JAKARTA - Sunday, January 5, the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya held a mobile SIM service for the community. This service car will serve the extension of the validity period of the SIM.

Through the official @tmcpoldametro account, this service is informed to be open from 07.00-12.00 WIB.

Here's the location:

East Jakarta: Jalan Raden Kalimalang (beyond McD Duren Sawit)

West Jakarta: Jalan Panjang (beyond Indomaret Kebon Jeruk)

Quoting ANTARA, the required documents are the original KTP and SIM along with photocopies, application forms and taking medical tests at outlet locations.

This service only serves valid SIM A and SIM C extensions.

For SIM holders whose validity period has expired, they are required to apply for a new SIM at the Daan Mogot SIM Satpas, West Jakarta.

For renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation Number 76 of 2020 concerning Types and Tariffs on Types of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the National Police, it is IDR 80,000 for SIM A renewal and IDR 75,000 for SIM C extension.

In addition to these costs, applicants also need to pay other additional costs such as for psychological tests of Rp37,500 and insurance of Rp50,000.

Drivers who cannot show a valid driver's license will be subject to sanctions in accordance with Article 288 paragraph 2 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. The maximum sanction that can be subject to a maximum imprisonment of one month or a maximum fine of IDR 250,000.
