See Wife Making Out With Another Man, This 66-Year-Old Elderly Is Desperate To Kill

JAKARTA - South Jakarta Metro Police investigators named an elderly man with the initials AR (66) as a suspect. AR is suspected of mistreatment that killed his wife, M (63).

South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Azis Andriansyah, said the incident occurred on Kelapa III Street Jagakarsa, Tuesday, July 27 yesterday at around 13.30 WIB.

"After we carried out an investigation, the suspect confirmed that he had killed the victim who was his wife. Then we named the suspect as a suspect", said the Chief of Police when releasing the case at the South Jakarta Police Headquarters, Antara, Wednesday, July 28.

Azis revealed that the reckless action was motivated by jealousy because the suspect had seen the victim making out with another man several times. The fateful incident was revealed after reports from the public found the body of an elderly woman with a head wound.

Then, joint officers from the Jagakarsa Police and the South Jakarta Metro Police immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) and obtained some information and evidence.

"It happened at around 13.30 WIB, last Tuesday. According to the suspect, the victim was hit twice with a crowbar on the head while the victim was asleep", said Azis.

Azis said the suspect initially denied having committed the act. However, thanks to the foresight of the investigators, he finally admitted his actions.

"When he was found at the crime scene he had avoided or did not admit his actions. But thanks to the foresight of the investigators based on the evidence found, the suspect could no longer dodge," said Azis, adding that one of the pieces of evidence found was a crowbar.

For this act, the perpetrator was charged with Article 44 paragraph 3 of 2003 concerning Domestic Violence, Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning premeditated murder, and Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder with a death penalty, life imprisonment, or a maximum of 20 years.
