JAKARTA - The Coordinator for the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, said the recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in the country was the second-highest in the world. He even said that Indonesia's recovery rate was below Russia's.

The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment then said this virus has an incubation period of 10-12 days. Thus, the decline in COVID-19 cases can only be felt in the coming week although he hopes it will be earlier.
"We hope that it can be earlier but this depends on how many recovery rates are", he said.
Furthermore, Luhut then explained that currently, the recovery rate in the country is indeed high. "So if you look at yesterday, for example, there were 13.000 cures from those infected with 27.000", he said.
