Jakarta Weather June 10: Thick Cloudy All Day, Light Rain At Night

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the majority of Jakarta will experience thick cloudy weather on Tuesday, June 10.

Through uploads on the official Instagram page @infobmkg, BMKG said thick cloudy conditions are expected to occur in the areas of Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta in the morning.

The weather conditions are predicted to continue until noon in most areas of Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands Regency area is expected to experience weather accompanied by lightning from morning to noon.

Entering the afternoon, all areas in Jakarta are predicted to remain cloudy. In the evening, some areas are expected to be cloudy, such as Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, and South Jakarta. Meanwhile, North Jakarta is predicted to experience foggy air, while the Thousand Islands remain in thick cloudy conditions.

BMKG also mentioned the potential for light rain that occurred at around 22.00 WIB in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands area is predicted to still be accompanied by lightning, and Central Jakarta is predicted to remain thick cloudy.

The air temperature in the Jakarta area is estimated to be in the range of 24 to 31 degrees Celsius. Wind speed is predicted to range from 1 to 14 kilometers per hour.
