DKI Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Admits Asks Assistance For COVID-19 Handling Facilities To Ambassador In Jakarta

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, admitted that the DKI Provincial Government sent a letter of application for COVID-19 handling facilities to ambassadors of foreign countries based in Jakarta.

Riza explained, this effort is a form of collaboration from all elements, both agencies and the community in the context of controlling the COVID-19 pandemic in the capital city.

"We are a city of collaboration. Of course, we invite all people to collaborate to help each other, not only the ambassador, but all elements of society have been working together with the Provincial Government, work together to find the best solution for Jakarta's problems to help each other", said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Thursday, July 1.

For information, letters of assistance were circulated to embassies. This letter was signed by the Head of DKI Jakarta Regional Cooperation Bureau, Andhika Permata, on June 28, 2021.

In the letter, Andhika explained that the government is currently trying to control COVID-19 cases, which are currently increasing by providing isolation facilities for COVID-19 patients.

Andhika said that the DKI Provincial Government is currently preparing isolation facilities at the Nagrak Flats, Cilincing, North Jakarta. Mentioned, five towers can accommodate 5,000 isolated patients.

To support the isolation process in the Nagrak Cilincing Flats, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government needs many supporting tools such as 5 thousand folding beds, 5 thousand floor mops, 5 thousand fans, 5 thousand towels, 500 water dispenser units, 5 thousand buckets, 5 thousand showers scoop, 13,520 20 liter trash cans, 5 thousand small folding tables, 2 freezer boxes, and other necessities.

Furthermore, Andhika also said that the DKI Provincial Government needed 20 multi-purpose tents, 300 vell-bed mattresses, 30 ventilators, 30 portable Hepa Filters, 50 infusion pumps, 30 defibrillator/AED units, 120 HFNC units, 150 syringe pumps, 600 units of BMHP HFNC, 300 pulse oximetry units, 180 bedside monitors, and 300 beds, and 300 mattresses.
