JAKARTA - The police said that the Mitsubishi Pajero driver, who went viral for molesting a container truck driver, was not a member of the Armed Force (TNI-Polri). The perpetrator is just a sailor.
"No, no. He's a pure civilian. Not a member of the TNI, not a member of the police. His occupation is a sailor", said North Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Nasriadi to reporters, Monday, June 28.
The initial assumption, said Nasriadi, was that the perpetrators were members of the TNI-Polri. This is because the perpetrator used a vehicle license plate with the letters QH behind that identical to a member of the National Police.
However, based on the results of the examination and investigation, it turned out that the perpetrator was using a fake license plate. So, investigators developed the case.
"Well, the plate is a fake plate, we are still developing where he got the plate from", said Nasriadi.

With the alleged forgery, the perpetrator is suspected of under Article 263 of the Criminal Code. "The person concerned has been detained", said Nasriadi.
