JAKARTA - The Head of the Greater Jakarta Ombudsman Representative, Teguh Nugroho, asked DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to pay attention to the weakening economic condition of the community due to the tightening of micro PPKM.

"Restrictions on mobility for two weeks will put a heavy burden on economic actors whose daily income base includes the informal sector," he said.
Therefore, Teguh asked Anies and the DKI Provincial Government to prepare mitigation for the most economically vulnerable groups.
The DKI Provincial Government, he said, must coordinate with the DPRD to the central government to ensure the availability of additional social assistance budgets.
"No matter how strict the enforcement action is to people whose economic base is weak, it is impossible to prevent them from carrying out economic activities, especially the informal sector is the main economic support for Jakarta residents," he explained.
In addition, Teguh also hopes that the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, will play a role as a leading sector in data collection and distribution of compensation for communities affected by the PPKM restrictions.
