JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) has again summoned the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for clarification regarding irregularities in the implementation of the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) today, Tuesday, June 15. However, it is not known for sure whether they will attend.
Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Lili Pintauli Siregar said that his party is currently still investigating further the summons and explanation received by his side from Komnas HAM. From the results of this investigation, it will be decided later whether the leader will move to Latuharhary street which is the location of the Komnas HAM Office.
"Regarding the Komnas HAM letter, we have indeed received the letter and we are studying it to determine whether the KPK will then submit it to obtain information related to what has allegedly violated based on a report to Komnas HAM," said Lili in a press conference broadcast on KPK RI YouTube, Monday, June 14.
Complementing the statement, Acting Spokesperson for the KPK for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said that the explanation given by Komnas HAM was important. Not only that, but he also has not been able to confirm the presence of the head of the anti-corruption commission at tomorrow's summons.
"We will report further developments tomorrow. Currently, the team is studying (the Komnas HAM reply letter)," he said.

Previously, the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, also stated that the summons of him and the head of the anti-corruption commission by Komnas HAM was unclear. Thus, they chose not to be present at the first summons on Tuesday, June 8, and sent a letter asking for clarity regarding the examination they would carry out.
"KPK conveyed the reason that we need certainty that what we will question us about is related to the alleged human rights violations," said Ghufron to reporters in Jakarta, Friday, June 11.
In fact, the reason for the summons and examination of the KPK leadership is often explained by the Commissioner for Monitoring and Investigation of Komnas HAM, Choirul Anam.
This call for clarification becomes an important thing to do. So, his party can listen to information from the two related parties before finally making recommendations.
Most recently, Anam even mentioned that the TWK problem that prevented 75 KPK employees from qualifying was actually not a complicated matter. Provided that the head of the anti-corruption commission can come to explain the problem with the implementation of the employee status transfer test.
Moreover, all documents related to this polemic have been received by his side. Likewise, testimonies from employees have been recorded.
"Therefore, the call for Komnas HAM is interpreted as coming, bringing documents, testimony. There is no need for other arguments," Anam told reporters at the Komnas HAM office, Jalan Latuharhary, Central Jakarta, Monday, June 14.
In addition, he also said that the presence of Firli Bahuri and colleagues will also bring goodness because it can provide enlightenment to the public.
Furthermore, Anam also talked about forced summons if later the KPK leadership did not want to come. By law and authority, said Anam, this is regulated in Law No. 39/1999 where the procedure must involve the courts.
However, it will not use this method. This is because Komnas HAM still believes that the KPK leader will come for the second summons on Tuesday, June 15.
"Until now, we still think that the KPK has good intentions in coming to Komnas HAM," he said.
For information, the National Insight Test was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 people were declared eligible.
Meanwhile, 75 employees including Novel Baswedan, Chairman of the KPK Employee Forum who is also investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Anti-Corruption Campaign and Socialization of the KPK Giri Suprapdiono, Head of the KPK Task Force Harun Al-Rasyid, and former PJKAKI Director Sujarnarko who will retire are also declared ineligible ). While the other two employees did not attend the interview test.
Of the 75, 24 employees are said to still be able to be fostered while 51 of them will be effectively dismissed on November 1st. The reason is, they are considered no longer able to be fostered because they get red points from assessors in the test.
However, the test was later deemed full of irregularities. According to the KPK employees, there were a number of strange things, including questions that violated the private sphere.
As a result, the employees who were declared ineligible reported the irregularities to a number of institutions ranging from the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM), the National Commission on Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan), to the Ombudsman with allegations of maladministration during the TWK process.
