Muhammadiyah Is Expected To Be Able To Present Prosperity For All

BABEL - Minister of Basic and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia Abdul Mu'ti said Muhammadiyah organizations must continue to do good in order to be able to bring prosperity to all.

"This is in accordance with the theme of the 12th anniversary of Muhammadiyah this year. Presenting prosperity for all when viewed from a religious point of view is the human duty as the caliph of Allah on earth," said Abdul Mu'ti in Mentok, Bangka Belitung Province, Saturday.

Abdul Mu'ti, who currently serves as General Secretary of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive, was present at Mentok in order to attend the peak event of the 12th anniversary of Muhammadiyah at the Bangka Belitung Islands Province which was held at Muhammadiyah Mentok Elementary School.

At this activity, he explained, Muhammadiyah as one of the big organizations in Indonesia, currently has special branches in 30 countries and the organization already has a legal entity in the country concerned.

The task of bringing prosperity to all is the basis for all Muhammadiyah people, because basically humans have the task of creating prosperity on earth or on land where they are.

"We humans must be aware of being the creatures of Allah who have the task of prospering the earth, and Muhammadiyah takes this theme actually as an effort to practice the teachings of the Koran in creating prosperity, not actually causing damage on earth, both damage to nature and destruction caused by hostility that results in bloodshed on earth," he said.

By prospering the universe, Muhammadiyah provides benefits, benefit, progress and prosperity for all mankind.

In this case, prosperous people have long hopes of living, economically prosperous, advanced and prosperous happily with the spiritual level being considered.

According to him, the prosperity of the world must be based on the power of piety because in piety it will have the ability to solve problems and get happy fortunes.

" Muhammadiyah schools not only educate the nation, but also provide benefits because they provide a lot of jobs, as well as hospitals founded by Muhammadiyah not only heal sick people but also many who work and depend on these institutions," he said.

To provide prosperity for all, Muhammadiyah also views the importance of movement in the economic sector, opening hotel businesses, gas stations and others.

"The advantage of this business is not for the leadership, but for the da'wah movement so that everyone can get prosperity, this is the theological foundation of the theme Prosperity for All, so that prosperity is more evenly distributed, the problem of inequality can be overcome," he said.

He said Muhammadiyah would continue to do more and be serious so that the nation would prosper, prosper and progress.

"Muhammadiyah is here to educate and prosper, with intelligent human resources, we will become a nation that is superior, independent and creative in utilizing the existing natural resources to the fullest," he said.
