The Body of a Man in a Sack Found in Pancoran Mas Depok

Depok - The Depok Metro Police Inafis team is investigating the discovery of a man's body in a sack found by residents in the Tanah Merah area, Jalan Kavling Depkes RT 03/RW 17, Kelurahan/Kecamatan Pancoran Mas, Tuesday afternoon.

"The Depok Metro Police Inafis team carried out initial identification and evacuated the body to the Kramat Jati Polri Hospital for further forensic examination," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Budi Hermanto, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 4.

Based on the testimony of a witness with the initials H, the witness saw a sack at the location and thought the sack contained garbage on Friday (24/7) at around 07.00 WIB.

However, the witness did not suspect the sack at all. Then, the witness informed his brother with the initials MR.

Then, witness MR intended to burn a sack that was suspected to contain garbage, on Tuesday morning. When the sack was burning and partially melted, the witness saw a human body inside the sack.

"Witnesses reported the incident to Bhabinkamtibmas," said Budi.

Based on the results of the crime scene investigation (TKP), it was found that the victim was found without wearing clothes. Both hands were tied with white cloth, both legs were missing from the groin, there was an open wound on the neck.

"The body was put in a sack of rice wrapped in black plastic," said Budi.
