Spider-Man's Grandma, Mary Rivera, Dies at 95

JAKARTA - Actress Mary Rivera, who played Ned's grandmother in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home, is reported to have died. Through the obituary released to the public, she died on April 15 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Citing TMZ, Rivera suffered a stroke and lived with the help. The family also gave a statement that Rivera was very proud of his role in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Mary Rivera plays the role of Ned's grandmother, played by actor Jacob Batalon, in the second film from the Spider-Man world with Marvel.

Rivera appears in the "No Way Home" scene with Peter Parker played by Andrew Garfield, Ned, and MJ played by Zendaya. Ned and MJ are in a tense situation with Peter arriving from the multiverse to help save Spider-Man from their universe.

Rivera then entered the room and reprimanded Ned. He asked Spider-Man to clean the spider's nest in the corner of the room.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the only film he has played in his life.

"Tita Mary, as a mentor and colleague, you will be missed forever. Our deepest and most sincere sympathies and condolences to the Rivera family during this difficult time."

Rivera leaves behind her husband, Alejandro Rivera, as well as her four children Carmela Jones, Paul Rivera, Edwin Rivera and Angela Kelly.

Born on June 2, 1943 in the Philippines, Mary Rivera died at the age of 82.
