The Murderer Of A Woman In An Empty House In Banjarmasin Gets Arrested

BANJARMASIN - The Banjarmasin Police Detective and Criminal Unit (Satreskrim) Joint Team, West Banjarmasin Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested the perpetrator of the murder of a woman in an empty house in Banjarmasin City.

"Thank God, in less than 24 hours, we have arrested the alleged perpetrator of the murder with a woman as the victim", said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banjarmasin Police, Commissioner Police Alfian Tri Parmadi, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 2.

The perpetrator was arrested this afternoon while in the Bati-Bati District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan.

"The perpetrator is suspected of wanting to escape, because of the agility of the joint team, we finally managed to catch the perpetrator in the Bati-Bati area", continued Alfian, who co-led the arrest.

From the results of the interrogation, the perpetrator is known to have the initials HP (40), a Belitung resident. Currently being investigated to determine the motive of the murder case.

"The confession of the perpetrator, he was alone in carrying out the action and no one else", said Alfian.

Meanwhile, the woman who was killed had the initials RH (40), a resident of Jalan Sejahtera Gang II Gang Sampurna, Central Banjarmasin.

"We have evacuated the victim's body to the mortuary of the Ulin Banjarmasin Regional General Hospital for a post-mortem", he said.
