Family Reveals, Stepfather Alvaro Committed Suicide At South Jakarta Police

JAKARTA - Sayem (53), Alvaro's grandmother, revealed that her family received news from the police that Alex, Alvaro's stepfather, had committed suicide at the South Jakarta Metro Police (Jaksel).

The news came shortly after Alex was arrested by police for his involvement in kidnapping Alvaro.

When met by VOI at his residence in the Pesanggrahan area, South Jakarta, Sayem admitted that Alex died of suicide.

"This suspect (Alex) died, he said he committed suicide," Sayem told reporters, at the funeral home, Pesanggrahan area, South Jakarta, Monday, November 24.

Sayem said Alex had been arrested since Wednesday 19 November. However, on Saturday morning his family was reported that Alex had died.

"He was arrested on Wednesday night, Thursday," he said.

However, Sayem revealed that Alvaro's mother ( Alex's wife) did not believe that Alex died because she did not see his body firsthand. Even with his grandfather Alvaro who was only shown Alex's grave.

"The grave, his grandfather is not certain, it is clear whether Alex is or not. That's why later from the Regional Police, the Resort Police want to investigate others. The problem is that his grandfather doesn't believe it. Only the graves are told," he concluded.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed confirmed the news of Alex's suicide.
