The National Police Chief Appointed Kombes Budi Hermanto As Spokesperson For The Metro Police

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo appointed Kombes Budi Hermanto as Head of Public Relations or spokesman for Polda Metro Jaya.

The appointment was stated in the telegram letter of the National Police Chief number ST/2134/IX/KEP./2025 dated September 19, 2025.

Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo, confirmed the appointment of Kombes Budi Hermanto as Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya.

"Yes, that's right," Trunoyudo told reporters, Monday, September 29.

With this appointment, Kombes Budi Hermanto will replace Brigadier General Ade Ary Syam Indradi who was promoted as Karo Multimedia, Police Public Relations Division.

Previously, it was reported that the National Police Chief also appointed two middle officers (pamen) to fill the positions of two Directors of Detective at Polda Metro Jaya. They are Kombes Iman Imanuddin and Kombes Edy Suranta Sitepu.

Kombes Iman Imanuddin will fill the position of Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police who was abandoned by Kombes Wira Satya Triputra because he was promoted as Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri.

Then, Kombes Edy Suranta Sitepu filled the position of Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police who was abandoned by Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak because he was transferred as Director of Special Economic Crimes at Bareskrim Polri.

The mutation and rotation of the position are known to be contained in the Secret Telegram Letter number ST/2192/IX/KEP./2025 dated September 24, 2025.

Trunoyudo said this mutation was part of the dynamics of the organization in the context of refreshment, career development, and optimizing institutional performance.

"The mutation and rotation of this position are dynamic in the National Police. This is part of the career development process and strengthens organizations to answer the challenges of contemporary tasks and in the future, which are increasingly developing to provide protection and services and realize Kamtibmas," said Trunoyudo.
