Puslabfor Takes 30 Items from the School Crime Scene Found Weapons in Jaksel

JAKARTA - The Central Forensic Laboratory (Puslabfor) team of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police took 30 items from the crime scene (TKP) at the school of the gundi airsoft gun found in the Pondok Pinang area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta (Jaksel).

"In total, there are 30 items that have been found by Puslabfor, which are related to weapons, wind weapons, ammunition, and spare parts," said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jakarta Police, Ipda Alpino de Tech, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 10.

Alpino said that the crime scene investigation was one form of service from the police to ensure that there were no suspected dangerous items in the school.

A total of two Puslabfor teams were deployed to test DNA samples and check whether or not there were items related to firearms, wind weapons or ammunition, and spare parts from the weapons.

After conducting the crime scene from 14.30 to 19.00 WIB, his party found the remains of weapons and ammunition to be brought as further investigation.

"The results of the findings are still the same, there is an airsoft gun, there is also ammunition, there is also a magazine for an airsoft gun, and spare parts of the weapon, for example, a shooting target and a weapon handle," said Alpino.

In the investigation of the crime scene, his party traced three rooms, namely the room of the former Chairman of the Foundation Board, the Secretary's room, and the Foundation's Facilities Room.

"Today, there are three rooms that have also been checked by the Criminal Investigation Unit, but what I have just said, to ensure that there is no concern from teachers or from parents or parents, we do it together with Puslabfor. Three rooms we have done the examination," said Alpino.

The crime scene investigation was carried out by a joint team from Inafis, Puslabfor, the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) and the DKI Jakarta Education Office at the location.

As is known, the South Jakarta Metro Police confirmed the discovery of a number of gundi soft air guns in one of the rooms belonging to a private school foundation in the Pondok Pinang area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

In the room of the former Head of the Foundation with the initials IWD at the private school, 995 guns, ammunition, gun accessories, bullet-making tools, porn VCDs, and suspected narcotics of methamphetamine and marijuana were found.

The police received a report from the community regarding the findings on July 15, 2026. Investigators had previously made a Model A Police Report as the basis for initial handling after learning of the findings.
